Our Team in Ukraine
As you may know, many members of the Ashlar-Vellum team are from Ukraine. This includes our developers, our technical support specialists and our order processing people. Most have continued to work, even when displaced from their homes, creating and supporting Ashlar-Vellum products, as the invasion rages across their homeland. Everyone continues to do their best for our customers while working under the sounds of ceaseless air-raid sirens and the constant boom of artillery.
While the bombardment has delayed the release of our new products, we are proud that inspite of it all, Graphite v13 Special Edition was released on August 4th, 2022. We will continue to work on the full rewrite of Graphite, but for now have met our customers immediate needs. Work also continues new versions of our 3D modeling products. The war is an unfortunate delay, and we truly appreciate your patience in the situation. We hope you’ll be enjoying the full versions of these Ashlar-Vellum products soon, just as we hope for victory in this unjust war.
We know you, our customers, are some of the most amazing and generous people in the world, striving to design and build products that make the world a better place. If you would like to contribute to those in need, we can suggest these places provided below.
Most importantly, please pray for the safety of each team member and their families, for the end of Putin’s reign of terror, and for peace to cover our nation and world.
Get Personally Involved
You too, can help as Ukraine continues to struggle against the Russian invasion. Members of our team have personal knowledge of the following groups and can vouch for their legitimacy.
Humanitarian & Medical Aid
Combat Tourniquets
Greek Catholic monasteries in Western Ukraine sew and fill first aid kits for military paramedics. They are desperately in need of special combat application tourniquets made in the US by North American Rescue. You can purchase these tourniquets and a volunteer from the Nova Ukraine Foundation in America will help organize their delivery to Ukraine. Please contact Natalia Antoniuk or Olga Peshnina of the Ashlar-Vellum team for more information or to coordinate delivery.
Important!!!: Please do NOT purchase Chinese tourniquets which appear similar but are not reliable in combat conditions
